Reason, Season, or Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
Walking Away Roses Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Summer Wedding Theme

A midsummer wedding theme can be a great way to implement the beauty that summer has to offer into your big day! Colors such as yellow, pink, pale green, lilac, and other cool pastel shades, as well as lots of flowers combine to make your midsummer wedding magical!
Location

Outdoors! Have your ceremony performed under a flower-covered altar or in a beautiful garden.
Invites
Invitations can feature such midsummer themes as flowers, butterflies, and even fairies. Implement summery colors such as grass green, yellow, pink and even your favorite pale pastel shades.
Decor

Think flowers, flowers and more flowers. Butterflies can also be great ways to tie summer into your wedding decor.
       Flowers
Roses are perfect flowers for your midsummer wedding. Or, take advantage of all the various blooms that are at their most radiant in summer such as sunflowers, daisies, baby's breath and calla lilies, to name a few. Your florist can help you create a gorgeous, colorful summer bouquet.
Brides Attire

Brides can go strapless, and even short, for a midsummer wedding theme. Try open-toed sandals and wear flowers in your hair. Wear your hair up to stay cool and evoke a casual yet romantic mood.
             Grooms Attire
Match grooms accessories such as ties, cummerbunds, hankies and corsages to the pastel shades of your flowers and accessories.
Catering
Have your wedding cake created in summery pastel shades. Offer guests lots of chilled, fresh fruits such as watermelon and berries. Go for light fare such as salmon or grilled chicken. Serve mint juleps and frosty sherbet punch.
Favors

Cute little handheld fans are great favours for your midsummer wedding. Miniature jars of bubbles are traditional yet perfect for midsummer weddings to add a whimsical flair.

    Ideas

Bridesmaids and flower girls can look fresh and summery in floral print dresses or pastel shades in fabrics such as silk and linen. Host an ice cream bar to keep kids of all ages cool and happy in the summer sun!

Think about this:

THE IRONY OF WORSHIP

1. Funny! How a fifty naira (N50) note looks so big when taken to the church, but so small when taken to the market.
2. Funny! How long it takes to serve ‘GOD’ for an hour, but how convenient it is to sit and watch a team play ninety (90)
minutes of football.
3. Funny! How we cannot think of anything when we pray, but don’t have difficulty in thinking of things to talk about a friend.
4. Funny! How we get thrilled when a football game goes to an extra time, but we complain when a sermon is longer than the regular time.
5. Funny! How we believe what the mass media says, but question what the ‘BIBLE’ says.
6. Funny! Funny! How we can spend one (1) hour cracking jokes and gisting but can’t spend twenty (20) minutes discussing the ‘BIBLE’.
7. Funny! How we can stay awake at mid-night making ‘free night calls’, but very hard for us to study the BIBLE for an hour.
8. Very Funny! How you can pass a rumor/gossip and it is spreading like a wild fire, but when you start sharing the gospel people think twice about sharing it and doubt it.

Are you laughing? Or are you thinking? Remember what was said by ‘WILLIAMS JAMES’
‘The greatest use of both time and life is to spend it for something that outlasts It.’
Happy new year and GOD BLESS’’.

Wedding Planning: Choosing colors

In planning my wedding the greatest challenge I have had so far is choosing colors; I love yellow :Yellow symbolizes wisdom. Yellow means joy and happiness. People of high intellect favor yellow. Yellow daffodils are a symbol of unrequited love. Sunday's color is yellow-gold).  Not just any shade of yellow – I love butter yellow and Ivory-yellow (some call it daffodil)
Why Yellow:
Yellow is Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest color to see (someone told me before, that only bold people wear yellow). People who are blind to other colors can usually see yellow. Yellow is full of creative and intellectual energy – yellow promotes the ability to be expressive and stimulate movement and mental awareness. (Thanks to Google – wink wink) I have to agree bcoz I love it <3
So I have checked out various yellow themes for weddings, and I am amazed at how many colors yellow goes with. (Yellow and Purple( rare and unique), yellow and green (too usual), Yellow and brown (common),  yellow and grey (elegant), yellow and water melon (classy), yellow and black … – you just name it) I think yellow can go with any color just as black is to white.
Below, inspiration boards that have made me draw up a conclusion (not final) as to what colors to use for the wedding (can’t publish the colors yet, but you could have an idea)
